Project Overview

Served as lead architect and technical leader for a greenfield social media platform built on AWS. Designed the complete system from the ground up, including full REST API, backend service topology, data models, and cloud infrastructure. Architected event-driven, high-throughput real-time interaction systems using AWS message queues and async Node.js services to support large-scale social platform traffic. Established Infrastructure as Code practices using AWS CloudFormation for repeatable, zero-downtime deployments across development, staging, and production environments. Led engineering hiring and contributed to technical roadmap planning while managing payment processing integrations with multiple vendors.

This project showcases modern web development practices, clean architecture, and user-centered design principles. It demonstrates the ability to work with complex requirements and deliver solutions that balance functionality, performance, and user experience.
